Attorneys representing the victims of the 2021 Champlain Towers South condo collapse secured $1B+ in proposed settlements with defendants. June 24 will be the one-year anniversary of the collapse.

In response to the announcement, Judge Michael Hanzman of the Eleventh Judicial Circuit said, “The result that has been achieved in this case and the speed with which it has been achieved is beyond extraordinary.” Wendy Stein Fulton was one of only two insurer coverage counsel recognized for their efforts to settle the complex action. Judge Hanzman again recognized Wendy at the Fairness Hearing, personally thanking her for “saving the deal multiple times”.

Mound Cotton represents multiple insurers involved in the case.
