FORT LAUDERDALE — Mound Cotton is expanding its Florida office with the addition of partner Wendy Stein Fulton, a seasoned commercial litigator with experience representing clients in complex insurance coverage, commercial general liability, professional liability, and health law disputes. She most recently managed the Ft. Lauderdale office of Kiernan Trebach LLP.

Her experience in commercial litigation and defending construction defect, environmental, legal malpractice, and breach of contract claims adds valuable depth to our practice in Ft. Stein Fulton has significant experience in commercial litigation and has been involved in the litigation of multimillion dollar coverage disputes involving primary, umbrella, and excess policies. She has litigated the defense of class actions and federal cases arising out of the Employee Retirement Income Security Act, the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, the Sherman Antitrust Act, the Lanham Act, the Copyright Act, and the Racketeer Influenced Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO).

Stein Fulton earned her MAcc in Forensic Accounting from Florida Atlantic University, her JD, cum laude, from Florida State University College of Law, and her BA, cum laude, from the University of Georgia, majoring in Political Science and Rhetoric in Social Movements. She is admitted to the Florida, District of Columbia, and Virginia Bars, as well as the U.S. District Court for the Southern, Middle and Northern Districts of Florida, the U.S. District Court of Maryland, the Eastern District Court of Wisconsin, and the U.S. Supreme Court.
She is a certified instructor of Adjuster Law and Policy Courses for the Florida Department of Financial Services and is a member of the Broward County Bar Association and the American Health Lawyers Association.
