Jory E. Miller
Jory E. Miller has more than thirty years of insurance law experience, both in private practice and as in-house counsel in the insurance industry. Mr. Miller has been with Mound Cotton since 2015, following twenty five years as in-house counsel in the MetLife corporate legal department where he was an Assistant General Counsel. Mr. Miller’s legal practice includes counseling on a wide variety of legal and regulatory matters which impact the development, administration, marketing, sale, and reinsurance of insurance products. He has provided legal counsel on many aspects of significant insurance transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, and licensing of insurance companies. Mr. Miller has legal experience in a broad spectrum of insurance products and regulatory matters, and has special expertise in group life and health insurance; self-funded benefits; employee benefits, and matters of multinational and cross-border insurance.
Mr. Miller is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin and Rutgers University School of Law.
